Job DescriptionThe company seeks an experienced Civil Engineer / Site Agent to work on project sites across the UK. Candidates may be based anywhere in the UK but must be willing to travel to project sites.
Key Duties- Assist with project management on site and manage resources to comply with health and safety standards.
- Set out works on site using GPS and survey as‑built information.
- Communicate technical knowledge of delivery to the on-site workforce.
- Ensure the quality plan is followed and record data on site.
- Complete risk assessments / method statements for works on site.
- Report site progress in line with KPIs outlined.
- Update and manage site programme for works.
- Work closely with the site quantity surveyor to monitor site costs and report value.
- Attend client meetings as required.
- Works carried out safely on site.
- Maintain good client and project team relationships.
- Build a relationship with the supply chain to promote a team ethos.
- SMSTS (preferred).
- CSCS card.
- HNC/Degree in Construction/Civil Engineering or equivalent.
- Demonstration of knowledge and practical application of site engineering activities combined with construction supervision skills.
- Extensive experience in heavy civils, earthworks and remediation environments.
- AutoCAD proficiency.
- LSS/Trimble Business experience (preferable).
- Full UK driving licence.
- MS Office literacy.
- Use of MS Office tools.
- Ability to work with own initiative and as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn and challenge yourself to improve daily.
