As a Control Engineer (systems) you will operate within the ECC technical office and be trained to manage the ECC aspects of the SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) and telemetry networks, and for all maintenance and change management of the control room systems utilized in ensuring the safe and efficient control of the gas networks. You will be responsible for adherence to Cadent’s and ECC’s data strategy, ensuring knowledge and understanding of ECC data, and that relevant maintenance and change controls are in place.

• Manage ECC aspects of SCADA and telemetry networks.
• Perform maintenance and change management of control room systems to ensure safe and efficient gas network control.
• Adhere to Cadent’s and ECC’s data strategy; maintain knowledge of ECC data and implement necessary maintenance and change controls.
• Collaborate closely with operational teams, system users, and technical partners to achieve high performance, reliability, and system integrity.

• Engineering & Systems Knowledge – understanding of control room environments and system operations; exposure to SCADA, telemetry or operational control systems desirable.

• Change & Process Awareness – understanding of change management processes and system governance.

• GCSEs in STEM subjects or equivalent.
• Further technical qualifications desirable.
