We're recruiting an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join a highly skilled engineering team delivering technically challenging control and automation projects across the UK.

As an Electrical Design Engineer, you'll be responsible for developing high-quality, commercially effective control system designs that meet client requirements and relevant industry standards.

• Designing MCCs, switch gear, control panels and LV distribution systems
• Producing electrical schematics, specifications, GA drawings and BOMs
• Leading FATs and supporting commissioning and SAT activities
• Working alongside Software Engineers to produce accurate FDS documentation
• Supporting technical reviews and providing engineering input to Sales
• Identifying emerging technologies and improving internal processes
• Supporting colleagues across the wider Engineering team

• Hardware electrical design within a Systems Integration environment
• MCCs incorporating DOL, ASD, Soft Start and VSD applications
• Switchgear, control panels or LV distribution
• AutoCAD Electrical
• BS EN 61439 and BS EN 60204
• 18th Edition BS 7671
• Equipment specification, installation and commissioning

• £40,000-£50,000 salary
