Senior Geologist | Lead UK ground investigation projects from a busy Southern office

Preferred Requirements:
  • Proficiency in sampling, logging, testing, and interpretative report writing, as well as experience in site investigation and geology
  • Ability to design, manage, and perform site investigation contracts, estimate project feasibility, and manage budgets
  • Expertise in conducting Phase I Desk Studies, Phase II+ intrusive investigations, risk assessments, and interpretative report writing
  • Skill in directing the collection, field analysis, and laboratory testing of soil and material samples
  • Familiarity with preparing and modifying factual and interpretative reports
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Qualified, preferably to Masters Level, in Geology, Engineering Geology, Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Environmental Science (or equivalent)
  • Minimum of 5 years' professional experience, ideally with another site investigation company or engineering consultancy
  • Commitment to professional development and a strong interest in attending professional meetings and training sessions.
