Site Services Manager

As Site Services Manager for the UK, Ireland & Hubs, you’ll lead the strategy and day-to-day performance of our facilities and maintenance operations across our Distribution Centres, offices and regional delivery hubs. You’ll be responsible for keeping our sites safe, compliant and operational 24/7, while driving improvements across asset performance, maintenance, automation and facilities infrastructure. Working closely with Operations, Finance and EU Engineering teams, you’ll also lead major engineering projects, Cap Ex initiatives and long-term plans to support Hello Fresh’s continued growth.

• Lead multi-site facilities and maintenance operations across the UK and Ireland, covering asset maintenance, cleaning, security and site infrastructure
• Own the performance and availability of critical equipment, ensuring high levels of uptime, compliance and operational reliability across a 24/7 business
• Manage facilities and maintenance suppliers and contractors, including contract performance, tenders, commercial negotiations and invoice approval
• Lead facilities and engineering projects from end to end, including equipment upgrades, system modifications, new technology rollouts and Cap Ex initiatives
• Work closely with Operations, Finance and EU Engineering teams to plan future equipment replacements, upgrades and system improvements, using data and ROI analysis to support investment decisions
• Develop and track key maintenance KPIs, including equipment uptime, efficiency, maintenance costs and continuous improvement activity
• Oversee the installation and commissioning of new equipment, ensuring safe integration into existing systems and compliance with relevant standards and regulations
• Lead, develop and support the engineering team, including maintenance planning, training and capability development, while role-modelling the Hello Fresh DNA and a strong culture of safety, compliance and continuous improvement

• An experienced engineering or facilities leader, with a background managing teams of engineers/technicians and large-scale automation or maintenance projects
• Qualified to NVQ/HNC Engineering level or equivalent, with Management Level 3 qualification; a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or a related field would be desirable
• Experienced in project management, with a track record of successfully delivering engineering, automation, equipment or Cap Ex projects; experience with Dematic automation systems is highly desirable
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to make decisions, identify opportunities and drive continuous improvement
• Confident working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, with strong communication, organisation and time-management skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and able to balance competing priorities while maintaining high standards of safety, compliance, performance and operational delivery
