To assist the Finance Department in the administration of the Money Management Service and Charity's financial affairs. This will involve detailed work on purchase and sales ledger.
Main duties of the jobPurchase ledger processing, including payments. Sales ledger processing, chasing debts as necessary. Dealing with queries. Assisting in the reconciliation of bank accounts.

Job responsibilitiesDuties and Responsibilities of Role
To administer the effective andaccurateprocessing of the purchase ledgerincludingmaking payments.
Assisting with thesalesledger process including the production invoices,raising manual invoices/credit notes as and when necessary,dealing with queries,monitoringthesalesledgerand chasingdebtsas necessary.
Assistin the reconciliation of bank accounts.
To maintain,update and processregularincomereceiptsand expenditurepayments.
To complete all routine tasksin a timely mannerto enableappropriate monitoring and reporting.
To undertakesuchother dutiesas maybereasonably required, consistent with the nature and grade of the post.
Toassistother members of the finance teamas and when required.
General

Person Specification Experience- Experience in a similar financial role.
- Experience of purchase ledger processes.
- Highly developed Excel skills.
- Ability to work with different financial systems.
- Team focussed approach.
- Ability to prioritise own workload.
- Ability to work under pressure and adhere to tight deadlines.
- Attention to Detail.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of sales ledger processes.
- GCSE Grades A-C / 9-4 or equivalent in English and maths.
- Part AAT qualified or any CCAB qualification (or equivalent substantial experience).
