Finance Analyst

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Finance Analyst to join a well-established and growing business based in Coventry. This role is particularly well suited to a practice-trained accountant seeking their first move into industry.

The position offers a strong blend of technical accounting exposure and forward-looking commercial analysis, making it an ideal platform for someone looking to develop both their technical and commercial finance skillset.

Working within a high-calibre finance team, you will utilise your IFRS knowledge and strong technical foundation while gaining exposure to budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Supporting technical accounting matters under IFRS
• Assisting with month-end and management reporting processes
• Preparing and reviewing financial analysis to support decision-making
• Contributing to budgeting and forecasting cycles
• Analysing variances and identifying key business drivers
• Working with operational stakeholders to provide financial insight

This role provides genuine exposure across both reporting and commercial finance activities.

• ACA / ACCA qualified or nearing qualification
• Trained within a Top 10 or leading accountancy firm
• Strong grounding in IFRS and financial reporting
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret and challenge financial data
• Keen to transition from audit into a broader finance role
