Your new company
Are you a qualified Management Accountant (CIMA / ACCA / ACA) ideally with strong experience in manufacturing? We're looking for an analytical, proactive finance professional to support a leading manufacturing business in Coventry during a key period of operational activity.
Your new role
You will play a crucial part in delivering accurate and insightful financial information to support business performance.
Responsibilities include:
- Producing monthly management accounts, variance analysis, and commentary
- Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes
- Conducting product costing, standard costing, and margin analysis
- Providing financial insights to operational teams to improve efficiency and cost control
- Supporting the Finance Manager with ad-hoc analysis and continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensuring compliance with internal controls and supporting audit requirements
We're looking for someone dynamic with a hands-on approach who will quickly adapt to the business and our systems.
- Fully qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA)
- Proven experience in a manufacturing environment is essential.
- Strong understanding of costing and standard manufacturing finance processes
- Excellent Excel and analytical skills
- Ability to communicate clearly with both finance and non-finance stakeholders
- Proactive, detail-focused, and comfortable working to tight deadlines.
- 3 month contract with potential for extension
- Competitive day rate of £350-£375
