Trainee Accounts Assistant

A dynamic and well-established company is seeking an organised and motivated Trainee Accounts Assistant to join its large and collaborative finance team in a varied role. Working closely with experienced members of the finance team, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day running of the finance function while gaining exposure across multiple areas of transactional finance. Responsibilities will include processing sales and purchase ledger invoices, allocating customer receipts, assisting with credit control, reconciling customer and supplier accounts, preparing payment runs, processing expenses, maintaining accurate financial records, resolving finance queries, and supporting month-end processes.

As your experience develops, you will also gain exposure to management accounts, reporting, and wider finance activities, providing an excellent foundation for a long-term career in accountancy.
