Assistant Accountant - Financial Reporting

It's a genuinely varied role;

you won't be stuck doing the same three tasks on repeat. Think financial accounting, reporting, compliance, and a good dose of process improvement, all while working across their overseas entities. If you like the idea of getting stuck into finance transformation and automation projects, this could be a great fit. What you'll be doing:
Preparing journals, reconciliations and financial reports Digging into overheads, budgets and forecasts, and figuring out why the numbers moved Helping out with banking, cash flow forecasting and payments Managing expenses, corporate cards and the reconciliations that come with them Keeping expense processes tight and compliant Getting involved in automation and process improvement work Liaising with people across the business and external auditors Spotting opportunities to make processes, controls and data just that bit better What we're hoping you'll bring Some experience in finance or accounting - but if you're a grad with the right attitude, we want to hear from you too A solid grasp of accounting principles Excel skills you're happy to put to the test Curiosity about automation, systems and doing things more efficiently An eye for detail and a "let's just fix it" mindset Confidence chatting to stakeholders, whether they're down the corridor or in another country Studying towards (or keen to start) ACCA or CIMA — bonus points, not a deal breaker Why you'll like it here This is a solid stepping stone if you want real exposure to an international finance function - different entities, different projects, different challenges - without giving up your work-life balance (hybrid, 2 days in office).
