Recruit UK is working with a well-established financial planning firm in Taunton that is looking for a proactive and organised IFA Administrator to join their team. This is a great opportunity for someone with financial services administration experience who enjoys working closely with advisers, clients and providers.
You’ll play an important role in supporting the advice process, ensuring cases progress smoothly and clients continue to receive a high-quality service. What’s in it for you? Your responsibilities will include:
Liaising with clients, advisers and product providers Processing Letters of Authority and gathering plan and policy information Preparing client files and maintaining accurate back-office records Processing and submitting new business Preparing pre- and post-sale documentation Preparing for client meetings, including valuations, fact finds, AML documentation and risk questionnaires Completing post-meeting administration and producing client documentation Actioning recommendations following adviser meetings Supporting ongoing client servicing Developing your knowledge across pensions, investments and protection products What are we looking for?
Previous experience within financial services administration, ideally within an IFA or financial planning environment Strong organisational and administrative skills Excellent attention to detail Confident written and verbal communication skills Ability to build strong relationships with clients, advisers and providers Comfortable managing and prioritising your own workload Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office 365 A positive, proactive approach and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
