Research Fellow in Health Economics
We are looking for an enthusiastic health economist to join our ambitious and fast‑growing team at the Centre for Health Economics at Warwick (CHEW). The primary focus of the role will be to conduct economic evaluations alongside large multi‑centre clinical trials and to work on applied and methodological health economic projects across global health, mental health research and environmental impacts in health.
Key Responsibilities- Lead economic evaluations in large multi‑centre clinical trials.
- Develop and apply methodological approaches to health economic questions.
- Disseminate findings through high‑quality journal publications and reports, informing policy at national and international levels.
- Engage in further training and contribute to a future portfolio of work.
- Experience conducting economic evaluations, with suitable statistical software skills (STATA and/or R).
- PhD in health economics or a similar background, near completion or completed (within‑trial economic evaluation experience is welcome).
- Competitive salary within £35,608–£46,049 plus a market supplement of £5,000 p.a. pro‑rata.
