Summary

Join NHS Jobs as a Senior Pharmacist in our dynamic team. Provide an effective clinical and medicines management service to patients admitted and discharged through the Trust. Collaborate with Pharmacy Managers/Team Leaders, Senior Clinicians, and Senior Nurse Managers to ensure seamless pharmaceutical care, driving innovative service changes when necessary. Lead, develop, and deliver education and training in pharmaceutical aspects to healthcare professionals, including pharmacy trainees and diploma students.

Cultivate an environment of clinical and practice-based research and audit. Contribute to ongoing and future research and audit projects associated with drug usage in your areas. Manage junior rotational staff, providing day-to-day line management and acting as a diploma tutor/supervisor when needed. Act as a team leader for the clinical pharmacy team in your area, identifying areas for improvement in both quality and cost-effectiveness of pharmaceutical care and prescribing.
