About the role

Please be aware this role is for 33 hours per week and night shift only.
Responsibilities- Plan and implement care that gives residents a real sense of security, dignity and independence.
- Work with residents and their families to ensure truly personalised care plans.
- Lead a team of Care Assistants, maintaining the highest standards of care.
- Assist with daily activities such as showing use of walking frames, helping with meals, and speaking with families.
- Assist the Registered Nurse and Care Manager with essential physical and mental stimulation through social and recreational activities.
- Administer medication when required.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided.
- Build strong relationships with the team.
- Safeguard residents by recognising signs of abuse, harm or neglect and reporting appropriately.
- Completed Level 2 Diploma or NVQ in Adult Social Care (or equivalent).
- Prepared to pursue Level 3 qualification in Adult Social Care (or equivalent).
- Experience with person‑centred care planning and caring for people with dementia.
- Positive energy, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to get along with people.
- Good record‑keeping and effective time‑management skills.
- Considerate and kind communication with residents and co‑workers.
- Paid Enhanced DBS/PVG.
- Hourly rate subject to experience and qualifications.
