Advanced Practitioner Ultrasound​/Sonographer

We are seeking a highly motivated, professional sonographer with a flexible approach to working and a desire to further develop the ultrasound service.

• Supporting a 7‑day ultrasound service, including weekends and bank/public holidays, in line with service requirements.
• Working within a dynamic and forward‑thinking team committed to excellence in patient care and service development.

• HCPC‑registered Sonographers who hold an international ultrasound qualification.
• Direct‑access candidates who have completed a CASE‑accredited BSc in Medical Ultrasound and are RCT‑registered or actively working towards registration.

Successful applicants will be required to provide an immunisation and vaccination report, from either their current UK occupational health provider or their UK GP.

The Imaging Department is seeking an enthusiastic sonographer to work as part of a multidisciplinary team. You will have the opportunity to train, mentor and develop other staff to high standards. The service covers general ultrasound departments as well as a variety of sub‑specialties including MSK, paediatrics, vascular and interventional across three sites:
University Hospital Coventry, Hospital of St Cross and the Coventry City Centre. The service will expand into the Community Diagnostic Centre with development planned for 2026.
