Support Worker, Direct Support Professional​/ Direct Care

We are recruiting on behalf of a dedicated and compassionate organisation based in Manchester that is looking for experienced and caring Support Workers to join their team. What You Will Be Doing Providing practical and emotional support to individuals in line with their personal care plans Assisting with daily living activities including personal care, meal preparation, and medication support Supporting individuals to maintain their independence, dignity, and quality of life Encouraging participation in social, recreational, and community activities Building positive, trusting relationships with the people you support and their families Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records and documentation Working collaboratively with colleagues, healthcare professionals, and other agencies to deliver the best possible outcomes

What We Are Looking For Previous experience in a support worker, care worker, or similar role is desirable A genuine passion for supporting others and making a positive difference A warm, patient, and empathetic approach Good communication skills — both written and verbal Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and shift patterns as required A valid DBS check (or willingness to obtain one) A full UK driving licence is desirable but not essential depending on the role What Is On Offer Competitive hourly rate of £18.00 – £23.00 per hour depending on experience Full-time, permanent position with consistent hours A genuinely supportive and values-driven organisation that cares about its staff Ongoing training and development opportunities, including funded qualifications Fantastic opportunities to grow your career within the organisation A positive, inclusive team culture where your contribution is truly valued
