We are looking for a dedicated, organized and motivated Pharmacy Purchasing Officer to maintain the supply chain of medicines and support the processing of invoices for all pharmacy purchases.
Sponsorship is not eligible for this position. Interviews are provisionally scheduled for Monday 24th August 2026. The job advert will close as soon as sufficient applications have been received.
Key Responsibilities- Work within the procurement team in the Pharmacy Department to support safe and cost‑effective procurement of medicines.
- Ensure all invoices are processed in line with suppliers’ terms and conditions.
- Develop and maintain working relationships with other departments within Pharmacy and Hospital.
- Collaborate with the pharmacy team to provide high quality pharmaceutical care to all patients within the Trust.
- Good communication and organisational skills.
- Self‑motivated with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility and ability to work well in an environment of change and transition.
- Good computer skills and ability to work well under pressure.
- Experience or knowledge in pharmacy purchasing or procurement is desirable.
