We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Speech and Language Therapist to join our Children's Speech and Language Therapy Team in Coventry. Whether you are a newly qualified therapist looking for your first post or an experienced Band 5 seeking a new challenge, we can offer a rewarding role with excellent opportunities for support and professional development.

You will work with children and young people aged 0-19 years, supporting a wide range of speech, language and communication needs across a variety of settings. Our therapists work collaboratively with families, education settings and multidisciplinary colleagues to ensure children and young people achieve the best possible outcomes.

The Children's Speech & Language Therapy Team aims to provide a high quality service to children, young people and their families. We provide assessment, interventions, and advice to children and young people aged 0-19 with a Coventry GP. We also support children in Coventry special schools and specialist settings with an Education, Health & Care Plan. We have developed clinical pathways and a competency programme in Speech, Language, Voice , Stammering, Dysphagia, Deafness, Cleft Palate, Alternative & Augmentative Communication and young children  At Risk  of SLCN.

The Role

As a Band 5 Speech and Language Therapist, you will:

• Assess, plan and deliver evidence-based interventions for children and young people with speech, language and communication needs.
• Work with other speech and language therapists and speech and language therapy assistants in the team.
• Work in partnership with parents, carers, education staff and health professionals.
• Work in a variety of settings across community, education and clinic.
