Job summary

We are looking for a Specialist Healthcare Science Practitioner or Clinical Scientist in Audiology to join our friendly Audiology team

This is an exciting opportunity to join a service that provides audiology care for children and adults, and the role offers a paediatric focus to clinical practice with an opportunity to gain experience in a variety of areas. We're also happy to support applications for STP equivalence via the Academy of Healthcare Science.

Successful applicants will be required to provide an immunisation and vaccination report, from either their current UK occupational health provider or their UK GP.

Main duties of the job

As a Specialist Healthcare Science Practitioner or Clinical Scientist, you'll be developing and utilising specialist skills and knowledge within Paediatric Audiology. The post-holder will have demonstrable knowledge and experience within Paediatric audiology, and be keen to develop this further, supported by clinical supervision and CPD activities.

The role will include clinical supervision responsibilities and will offer opportunities to develop and lead on innovative projects within the team. The successful candidate will also be supported to develop their leadership skills through further training and professional development.

To apply, you should have NHS experience and a BSc-level qualification (or equivalent) in Audiology. You must also have HCPC or AHCS registration to be considered for this role.
