Front Office Manager at Ramada Hotel and Suites Coventry
The 166‑bedroom Ramada Hotel and Suites by Wyndham Coventry is just off Exit 7 of the Coventry Ring Road. All bedrooms and suites have stunning views overlooking the historic City Centre and County of Warwickshire. It has a dedicated training and meetings floor and a dedicated executive lounge. Ramada is also home to the award‑winning Queen’s Road Restaurant, offering a mix of traditional favourites and British fusion food, from “breakfast to bedtime.”
We are currently looking for a Reception Shift Leader to join the Front Office team.
Responsibilities:
Your duties will include:
• Supervising guest experiences during arrival, stay and departure, efficiently and professionally following the standard operating procedures.
• Working with the Front of House Manager ensuring all receptionists are trained and motivated to deliver excellent service throughout the operation.
• Completing own learning and development initiatives to complement your job role and increase your expertise, skills and knowledge in your profession.
• Developing a thorough knowledge of all systems relating to the front office department.
• Liaising with other hotel departments to ensure that we meet/exceed guest expectations.
• Ensuring that through the promotion of knowledge, expertise and personality, amazing experiences are created, and a great reception and welcome is delivered for everyone.
Hours of work:
Working 5 days out of 7, covering the operational hours from 7 am to 11 pm on a flexible rota, incorporating early, mid and late‑shifts dependent on business needs, to a 40‑hour week. Occasional night work may be required to cover the night team.
Rewards and benefits:

Salary: £26,100 – £27,000 per annum depending on experience.
Qualities for the role:
The key talents are: enthusiastic and positive personality; high standard of personal presentation, confidence and professionalism; demonstrable excellent communication skills; previous experience as a reception supervisor or receptionist in a busy hotel; knowledge of Opera Cloud Property Management system.
