Recruiter - Gi Group (Driving)

Contract:

Part-time, permanent (25 hours per week)

Location:

Coventry (branch-based)

We’re looking for an experienced, driven Recruiter to join our team. You’ll take end-to-end responsibility for sourcing, screening and placing candidates across a range of driving roles, delivering a high standard of candidate care and ensuring full compliance with Right to Work and other statutory requirements. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment, provides clear, proactive stakeholder updates, and keeps accurate records to support quick turnaround times.

Key responsibilities

Source, screen and place candidates into temporary and permanent roles across various locations.

Manage weekly scheduling and rota requirements, ensuring all bookings are filled.

Complete Right to Work checks and support the wider onboarding process.

Ensure all compliance steps are completed accurately and recorded in the CRM.

Build and maintain candidate pools by location to create a strong, ready-to-deploy pipeline.

Keep candidate records, availability and stakeholder notes up to date to enable rapid placements.

What we’re looking for

Experience in resourcing, recruitment, staffing or high-volume coordination (agency experience is beneficial).

Confident candidate engagement skills, both by phone and in writing.

Strong attention to detail, especially regarding compliance and Right to Work documentation.

Ability to work to weekly deadlines and manage multiple priorities.

Comfortable using scheduling tools and CRM systems, with a strong focus on data accuracy.

A collaborative team player with a practical, solution-focused approach.

Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle (desirable for some roles).
