West Midlands | Hybrid (4 days in the office)

This is not a reporting role.

And it’s definitely not “price list maintenance”.

A large, multi-site B2B organisation is completely rethinking how pricing works - moving away from historic guideline pricing and towards a smarter, market-aligned, data-driven approach.

This role sits right at the centre of that change.

…then this will feel very different from a typical pricing analyst job.

You’ll help design and embed pricing logic, not just report on outcomes. You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders and see your work used in day-to-day trading decisions across a complex wholesale environment.

What you’ll be doing

  • Building and evolving reference pricing models at product and branch level
  • Working with large, high-volume datasets using SQL as a core analytical tool
  • Supporting the shift to more realistic, market-aligned pricing
  • Bringing competitor and market intelligence into practical pricing frameworks
  • Translating complex analysis into clear, commercial insight
  • Acting as a bridge between Pricing, Finance, Commercial teams and IT

You don’t need to tick every box, but you’ll likely have:

  • 3–5+ years’ experience in pricing, commercial analytics or a data-driven role
  • Strong SQL capability
  • A genuinely commercial mindset
  • Experience working with business stakeholders (not in a technical silo)
  • Curiosity, pragmatism, and comfort working with imperfect data

Experience with Python, PySpark, Power BI, or B2B pricing environments is a plus - but not essential.

  • Pricing is a top-tier strategic priority
  • Your work will directly influence how the business trades
  • Clear progression opportunities into senior pricing or wider commercial roles
  • High visibility with senior leaders
  • A collaborative, social, office-based culture
