Cloud Security Architect

Our client is looking for a Cloud Security Architect who can lead the security architecture and design of major projects. You will have demonstratable experience of cloud (AWS and Azure) security controls.

• Plans security systems by evaluating security technologies; developing requirements for firewalls, IPS/IDS, SIEM, DLP, Web security, Email security, VA/PT and related security devices; designs public key infrastructures (PKIs), including use of certification authorities (CAs) and digital signatures as well as hardware and software; adhering to industry standards.
• Understanding of Access management solutions
• Implements security systems by specifying intrusion detection methodologies and equipment; directing equipment and software installation and calibration; preparing preventive and reactive measures; creating, transmitting, and maintaining keys; providing technical support; completing documentation.
• Delivering Security Architectures/Strategies as part of a broader Enterprise or IS/IT Architecture
• Interpreting and applying appropriate Standards, Policies and Legislation, e.g. ISO
  27001, PCI DSS, COBIT, SOX, etc.
• Understanding of Threat and Risk analysis methodologies/techniques and the interpretation/application of their output in the definition of Security Architectures.

The positions require two to three days on site in Coventry on a weekly basis. The work is for three to six months initially inside IR35.
