We have an exciting opportunity for you – S/4 HANA Lead Consultant!

As an S/4 HANA Lead Consultant
, you will play a key role in shaping and delivering enterprise‑scale SAP transformation programmes within a major UK retail environment. We are looking for a senior SAP professional who can influence architectural direction, guide engineering teams, and translate complex business requirements into scalable and resilient SAP solutions. You will work closely with client business stakeholders, IT product managers, and engineering leaders, contributing to programme success through strong technical leadership, design excellence, and delivery assurance across S/4

HANA initiatives.

• Lead and contribute to end‑to‑end SAP S/4
  
  HANA solution design and delivery across large transformation programmes.
• Participate in requirements analysis, scoping, documentation, and solution design workshops with senior client stakeholders.
• Drive technical architecture for scalable, secure, and high‑performing SAP platforms.
• Provide thought leadership on SAP best practices, industry trends, and modern engineering approaches.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align SAP technical strategy with business objectives.
• Support solution roadmap planning, design reviews, and delivery governance for complex programmes.
• Act as a trusted advisor to client and internal leadership throughout the transformation journey.

• Strong understanding of SAP S/4
  
  HANA value chains and the ability to design solutions that address complex business challenges.
• Proven experience as a Solution Architect or Lead Consultant within large‑scale SAP transformation programmes.
• SAP S/4
  
  HANA SD certification (mandatory).
• Experience in the Retail industry (mandatory).
• Deep functional expertise across Sales and Distribution, including Master Data, Pricing, Billing, Taxes, Account Posting, and Sales Documents.
• Strong business process knowledge in Supply Chain, Logistics Execution, Procurement, Inventory Management, and Invoice Processing.
• Experience across requirements gathering, system design, development life cycles, testing methodologies, training, and documentation.
• Hands‑on expertise in configuring SD master data, including Material Master, Customer Master, and Pricing Procedures.
• Knowledge of output determination and batch management.
• Experience contributing to scalable architectures, including microservices and event‑driven designs.
• Solid understanding of software engineering standards, quality, and testing practices.
• Experience working on multiple SAP S/4
  
  HANA implementations from a systems integrator or consulting perspective.
• Experience leading greenfield SAP transformation projects as a solution consultant.
• Hands‑on experience supporting data migration from SAP ECC or legacy platforms to S/4
  
  HANA.
• Extensive experience across SAP ECC and S/4
  
  HANA Sales & Distribution modules.
• Experience supporting large commercial transformation programmes within the retail domain.
• Knowledge of performance engineering, resilience, and reliability‑focused design patterns.
