Team Lead SAP Basis Operations (ERP)

Manage, operate, and continuously optimize SAP systems across the global PUMA landscape.

• Ensure stable, secure, and uninterrupted operation of SAP systems across all supported regions.
• Manage and optimize SAP landscapes including S/4
  
  HANA (Private Cloud), SAP ECC (R/3), and related platforms.
• Organise on‑call support and incident management processes.
• Manage external service providers and ensure delivery in line with defined SLAs and performance standards.
• Act as a hands‑on expert for SAP Basis operations, guiding on complex technical topics.
• Oversee system upgrades, patches, kernel updates, and support package implementations.
• Monitor system performance and implement optimisation measures to ensure efficiency and scalability.
• Define and enforce SAP Basis standards, best practices, and operational procedures.
• Assume responsibility for SAP Basis operations across additional global regions, ensuring consistent service quality and system availability.
• Standardise processes, tools, and governance models across regions.
• Ensure alignment with global IT strategy, architecture standards, and security requirements.
• Support and drive SAP‑related projects such as upgrades, roll‑outs, and technical transformations.
• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and external partners.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and evolution of the SAP technology landscape.

• Proven leader of international SAP Basis teams, thriving in fast‑paced, global environments.
• Deep expertise in SAP Basis with strong exposure to S/4
  
  HANA and SAP ECC landscapes.
• Hands‑on expert combining leadership with active contribution to technical operations and innovation.
• Driven to ensure stable, scalable, and high‑performing SAP platforms supporting global business operations.
• Strong collaborator across regions, functions, and external partners.
