Medical Education ICT and AV Technician

An exciting opportunity has arisen for the appointment of an enthusiastic, and methodical ICT & AV technician to join our busy Medical Education Department, on the University Hospitals Coventry & Warwickshire Coventry site.

You will need to work as part of a team, taking ownership in resolving issues whilst managing conflicting priorities of your own and those of the service effectively.

We are looking for someone who is at ease talking to a wide range of staff groups and has excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

The post holder will be responsible for supporting the IT Team within the Medical Education Department. You will be required to prepare the room and the equipment according to the specifications for each event. This may include equipment for:

• teaching
• video-conferencing
• sound
• lighting
• projection
• recording

The post holder will take ownership of, and resolve, calls for ICT/AV support raised by users through the online ticketing system.

The post holder will occasionally assist with project work as required by the Medical Education IT team.
