Cybersecurity & IT Support Apprentice role offers hands‑on experience in safeguarding digital assets, responding to threats, and supporting day‑to‑day IT operations across the organisation.

You’ll gain exposure to both cybersecurity practices and first‑line IT support, developing a strong foundation in technical troubleshooting, user administration, and compliance. This apprenticeship includes structured learning aligned to the Level 4 Cyber Security Technologist standard, covering:

• Threat analysis and mitigation
• Security architecture and controls
• Risk management and compliance
• Incident response and digital forensics

• Monitor systems for suspicious activity and potential threats
• Assist with vulnerability scanning, patching, and endpoint protection
• Support incident response and investigation processes
• Help maintain security documentation and compliance records

• Respond to user queries and technical issues via helpdesk or ticketing system
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity problems
• Set up and maintain user accounts, devices, and access permissions
• Escalate complex issues to 2nd/3rd line teams as appropriate
• Contribute to asset tracking, software updates, and IT documentation
