As a Senior Technical Consultant on the Curam solutions team, you will have significant responsibility in the delivery of project implementations. You will work closely with clients and systems integration partners and teams on projects to provide technical guidance and design for the Curam platform.

Essential

Job Duties:

Facilitate requirements and fit/gap workshops with client staff on technical topics and non-functional requirements

Create functional and technical designs as well as solution prototypes to support Curam configurations and extensions such as workflow, rules, and/or integrations

Develop, code, and unit test Curam extensions in a J2EE environment

Develop REST APIsConfigure and troubleshoot application servers like Web Sphere or Web Logic Develop  SQLs and performance tune DBs like Oracle and DB2

Work within Agile delivery teams and Dev Ops processes

Establish and maintain successful working relationships with fellow employees, System Integration partners and clients, and promote Curam Solution as a capable and trusted partner

Apply industry standard design methodologies and patterns

Mentor and assist less experienced consultants as needed

Basic Qualifications (minimum requirements):

Bachelor's degree in computer science or information technology equivalent

Curam Technical certification (preferably on latest Curam version) – or willingness to obtain within 90 days
10+ years of experience in a hands-on technical role delivering and implementing software solutions5+ years of experience with Curam software and delivery (

Note:

Hiring manager minimum for this search is 4+ years)5+ years of experience in Java/J2EE/JEE development, JDBC, XML, XSL, CSS, Java Script Demonstrated  experience in modern UI/UX design and user research practices (React.js, Angular, UML)

Experience with EJB, RSA, UNIX and NT operating systems, Oracle or DB2 databases, Web Sphere or Web Logic Flexibility  to travel if needed

Preferred

Skills:

Data architecture and data governance best practices, ETLs, BI platform, data integration, data quality assessments, data migration strategies

Cloud experience with AWS, Azure, IBM Cloud, Kubernetes/Docker Dev Ops  tooling: CI/CD, Jenkins, Pipelines, Ansible/Chef/Puppet, Packer/Terraform Experience in containers using Kubernetes, Helm charts

Agile Scrum Master experience
