Supply Chain Specialist, AMZL Launch & Expansion

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Supply Chain Specialist to join our Launch and Expansion MEU team, focusing on Germany, Austria, and the Netherlands. This role is crucial in driving our equipment orders and deployment on site in our new site launch and existing site refurbishment projects.

Projects will include partnering with Procurement, Engineering, Finance, Design and Construction, and other stakeholders to help fulfill equipment orders and standardize building standards in Amazon Logistics nodes in the EU to facilitate the organization’s growth plans, and other cross‑functional Supply Chain, Transportation, Engineering & Infrastructure initiatives.

This role is temporary until July 2027.

Key Job Responsibilities
  • Support a diverse portfolio of infrastructure projects for new site launches across an assigned region by ensuring equipment is delivered on time, within budget, and deployed as per Amazon standards.
  • Work alongside Program Managers on facility upgrade projects in Amazon's existing sites, including office spaces, optimization of the shop floor, parking plots, and other infrastructure retrofits to provide best‑in‑class equipment, non‑inventory and signage as per Amazon's standards.
  • Raise purchase orders for 1,000s of items, mitigate supply‑chain risk, and coordinate external supplier to meet delivery deadlines.
  • Ensure all ordering deadlines are met, receipting completed for deliveries on‑site, and invoices on hold resolved.
  • Collaborate with stakeholder teams to set and raise building standards at site level.
  • Coordinate and communicate with cross‑functional teams, including procurement, operations, finance, design and construction and engineering, to ensure project success.
A Day in the Life

You will be a natural self‑starter who is well‑organised and comfortable supporting cross‑functional projects. To be successful in this role, you will have a true hands‑on approach, will demonstrate strong ownership and project management skills, and will be an effective communicator across different stakeholder groups. The successful candidate will continuously show a think‑big attitude and will look beyond their direct scope of responsibility in order to ensure launch success is achieved.
