Are you a commercially savvy Buyer who thrives in a dynamic engineering environment? We’re looking for someone who can take ownership of sourcing, supplier relationships, and cost optimisation – and make a real impact.
What you’ll do:- Source materials, components, tooling & manufacturing services
- Negotiate pricing, contracts & lead times
- Build and manage high-performing supplier relationships
- Drive cost reduction and continuous improvement initiatives
- Work closely with engineering on new product launches
- Manage supplier performance across cost, quality & delivery
- Experience in purchasing/procurement within manufacturing or engineering
- Strong commercial mindset and negotiation skills
- Ability to read technical drawings and understand engineering processes
- Experience with ERP systems
- A proactive problem-solver who can spot and mitigate supply chain risks
