Job Summary

The perfect candidate will contribute to a team ensuring overall cleanliness and proper appearance of the community, supporting resident experience through effective community maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond positively to customer queries, resolving or directing them appropriately.
  • Clean reception, offices, common spaces, restrooms and all amenity areas on a daily basis.
  • Carry out full litter pick in all external areas of the community.
  • Maintain empties rooms, apartments and target show flats fresh and ready for market.
  • Conduct weekly flush-downs of all empty rooms and apartments in line with health and safety policies.
  • Assist in the make-ready process by performing additional duties requested by the Community Manager or supervisor.
  • Report observed hazards or potential dangers to the Community Manager.
  • Log maintenance issues with the Customer Service team as part of daily tasks.
  • Address resident concerns or queries as requested.
  • Maintain an appropriate inventory of cleaning supplies and notify supervisors when re-ordering is necessary.
  • Use materials and equipment efficiently, championing cost efficiencies without compromising quality.
Qualifications
  • Ability to read and write English at a level that supports full understanding of safety labels, COSHH policy, and procedural manuals.
  • Knowledge and understanding of UK health and safety requirements.
  • Knowledgeable and skilled in the safe use and maintenance of cleaning fluids and tools.
  • Previous experience maintaining cleanliness within a customer-occupied environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to solve problems in varied practical situations and follow standardised procedures.
  • Flexible approach to work and adaptable to thrive in a changing environment.
  • Proficiency in customer service and interpersonal communication skills to interact courteously with residents, clients, and colleagues.
