Facilities Services Officer - Cardinal Wiseman School

Reporting to:
Facilities Manager

Under the instruction/guidance of the Facilities Manager provide maintenance and security services on the Academy sites and premises.

You willbe responsible forthe provision of a wide range of services, providing a safe, clean,warmand secure environment for all authorised users of the Academy and visitors on a late shift pattern.

• Lock/unlock Academy buildings and areas.
• Undertake regular security checks and identify security risks.
• Monitor fire safety equipment and carry out fire alarm testing
• Operate and respond to alarm systems where appropriate
• Undertake appropriate repairs e.g. redecorating and fixing
• Undertake minor/simple repairs e.g. minor plumbing, changing light bulbs, unblocking drains
• To organise and carry out various maintenance duties to ensure that the general upkeep and maintenance of the premises is satisfactory
• To organise and carry out minor improvement work e.g. erecting shelves, notice boards, bookshelves etc

• Be willing to work across any of the sites that make up The Romero Catholic Academy(this may be on a temporary or permanent basis)
