Gardener / Maintenance Support Assistant - Oxford City Centre

Our client, a well-established independent school in Oxford, is hiring a friendly and proactive Gardener / Maintenance Support Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to combine your gardening and practical maintenance skills in a vibrant educational environment.

• Maintaining the school grounds, landscaped areas, and gardens to a high standard
• Assisting with general maintenance tasks around the school premises
• Moving furniture and setting up for events
• Supporting day‑to‑day operational needs of the school
• Heavy lifting and manoeuvring of furniture as required

• Basic gardening and groundskeeping skills
• Practical maintenance experience
• A positive attitude and good work ethic
• Willingness to undertake physical tasks, including heavy lifting
• Flexibility to support the school's operational needs

• Working hours:
  
  36 hours a week, rotating shift pattern including early, late and weekends
• £27171 annual salary including Pension, free lunch (term time only)

An enhanced DBS check will be required due to the environment.
