MOT Tester

Our client, a respected Vehicle Service Centre in Daventry, is actively seeking a qualified MOT Tester to join their professional team. This position offers an excellent opportunity for experienced MOT Testers to work within a supportive environment while achieving strong earning potential.

• Salary up to £34,000 basic, with an OTE of £40,000
• Bonus scheme based on efficiency and quality of work
• Monday to Friday working week with 1-in-2 Saturdays (a day off during the week when working Saturday)

• Conduct MOT tests on vehicles (Class 4 & 7 only), ensuring compliance with DVSA standards
• Accurately complete all required documentation and record test findings as an MOT Tester
• Identify vehicle issues and advise customers on repair or maintenance needs
• Ensure all tests are performed in accordance with legal and safety standards
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment
• Support the team with additional duties where applicable

• Valid MOT Licence (Class 4 &
  7) – essential for the MOT Tester position
• NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent – preferred
• Prior experience as an MOT Tester within an independent garage or main dealership
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and efficiently
• Full UK driving licence
