Field Based, South of England (covering theSouthWest,South East, South Coast and extending into the Midlands. Occasional support may be required in other regions across the UK to meet business and customer needs.)

We’relooking for an experienced Field Service Engineer - Road Equipment to join our growing Customer Support team. Covering a large territory across the South of England,you’llbe responsible for servicing,maintaining and repairing
Dynapacroad construction equipment at customer sites, ensuringmaximummachineuptimeand delivering an exceptional customer experience.
This role offers the opportunity to work independently while being supported by a wider team of technical experts, Customer Support Representative sand managers.
You’llcombine strong technicalexpertisewith a customer-focused and commercially aware approach, helping customers maximise the performance of their equipment.
Service,maintain and repair
Dynapacroad construction equipment to OEM standards.Diagnose and rectify mechanical,hydraulic and electrical faults.
Carry out planned maintenance,inspections and breakdown repairs.
Identify opportunities foradditionalservice,partsand aftermarket sales.
Work closely with Customer Support Representatives and internal teams to deliver excellent customer outcomes.
Install software updates, machineenhancementsand technical modifications.
Complete electronic job cards, service reports,timesheets and associated documentation accurately and in real time.
Order and manage parts in line with company processes.
Participate in call-out and breakdown support rotas when required.
Ensure all work is carried out safely andin accordance with company policies and procedures.
Build andmaintainstrong relationships with customers across your territory.
Attend technical training and development activities tomaintainand enhance knowledge and skills.
You’llbe a motivated and self-sufficient engineer with a passion for delivering excellent customer service. Comfortable working independently across a large geographical territory,you’llpossessstrong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities and take pride in delivering high-quality work.
You’llalso be flexible and willing to travel extensively, including providing occasional support in other UK regions when business needs require.
Recognised engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent) in Plant, Agricultural, Construction Equipment or HGV Engineering.
Proven experience servicing and repairing heavy plant, construction equipment, agricultural machineryor similar mobile equipment.
Strong diagnostic skills across mechanical,hydraulic and electrical systems.
Good understanding of diesel engines, hydraulics,transmission sand electrical systems.
Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical information clearly to customers and colleagues.
Full UK driving licence.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently.
Good IT skills and experience completing electronic service documentation.
Previous experience working on road construction equipment, compaction machineryor paving equipment.
Knowledge of Dynapacproducts.
Previous field service experience.
Manufacturer training certifications.
Experience using machine software and telematics systems.
