Organisational Development & Leadership Advisor
Role that shapes organisational development and leadership across Greater Manchester Combined Authority and Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service. The position delivers impactful projects that drive real change and improvement, and provides a dynamic, supportive environment for staff and partners.
Responsibilities- Support the design, delivery and evaluation of Organisational Development (OD) activities, including leadership development, employee engagement and team development initiatives.
- Collaborate with colleagues and external partners to deliver impactful projects that drive performance and service improvement.
- Co‑ordinate leadership and management training, ensuring people‑management skills are embedded throughout the organisation.
- Foster an inclusive and diverse workforce by coordinating OD approaches that champion equality and diversity at all levels.
- Maintain and enhance data management systems to support delivery and provide robust evidence for OD and Leadership services.
- Deliver excellent customer service as the front face of the OD & Leadership Team, creating a positive and supportive environment for staff and partners.
- Demonstrable experience in delivering excellent customer service and supporting high‑volume activities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong digital skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- High attention to detail, accuracy and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professional standards.
- Commitment to equality, diversity and continuous learning, demonstrating curiosity and a drive for innovation.
- Willingness to work flexibly, including remote and in‑person meetings in line with the organisation’s hybrid working policy.
