Join Our Student Recruitment Team as Events Team Manager (Job Share, 0.5 FTE), working 18.25 hours per week across Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
As Events Team Manager, you’ll play a key role in delivering impactful student recruitment events—from Open Days and Offer Holder Days to virtual experiences and bespoke campus visits. You’ll manage a small events support team, oversee the Warwick Welcome Service (student ambassadors), and ensure events planning is front‑loaded to deliver seamless and professional events. This is a collaborative role, working closely with your job share partner and the wider Student Recruitment team.
Key Responsibilities- Support the planning and delivery of student recruitment events.
- Manage and mentor the Events Support Team and student ambassadors.
- Coordinate event logistics, briefings, and on‑the‑day troubleshooting.
- Oversee financial processes related to events.
- Strong people management and organisational skills.
- Proven experience in event planning and coordination.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Confidence working with financial systems and managing budgets.
- A proactive, detail‑oriented approach with a passion for student engagement.
This is a 0.5 FTE job share position, with working hours split across Wednesday, Thursday and Friday (18.25 hours per week). Flexibility, teamwork and clear communication with your job share partner will be key to success.
Several events take place on Saturdays. You will be required to work around 8 Saturdays each year and from campus in the run‑up to events. Overtime/TOIL is available.
