Permanent. Salary: £31,236 to £34,610 per annum.

Warwick Sport is looking for an Assistant Operations Manager to lead the day‑to‑day running of our sports facilities. You’ll ensure safe, efficient operations, oversee maintenance, and uphold health and safety standards, delivering an outstanding experience for students, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain high standards across indoor and outdoor facilities.
- Coordinate maintenance with Estates, grounds teams, and contractors.
- Conduct inspections, audits, and risk assessments for compliance.
- Manage daily operations, staff rotas, and act as Duty Manager when needed.
- Lead health and safety, update risk assessments, and ensure staff training.
- Support events and competitions with logistics and staffing.
- Handle customer queries and complaints professionally.
- Maintain accurate records, contribute to planning, and monitor KPIs.
- Line manage Duty Managers and support recruitment and training.
- Experience in facility or operations management within leisure/sport.
- Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of health and safety compliance.
- Flexible to work shifts, including evenings and weekends.
- First Aid, Health & Safety, IOSH or Pool Plant qualifications.
- Experience with booking systems and operational reporting.
- Understanding of inclusivity and accessibility in sport.
