Job RoleWe are looking for an experienced and motivated Leader to support a team in delivering responsive, personalised and outcome-focused services for people and their carers. Opportunities exist in Learning Disabilities and Mental Health services. The role involves providing operational leadership, ensuring high-quality service delivery that meets national standards and local priorities.
Responsibilities- Oversee performance management and enforce high-quality service delivery.
- Manage delegated budgets and support effective safeguarding practices.
- Work collaboratively with partner organisations to achieve positive outcomes for service users.
- Lead staff management and development, including recruitment, supervision, performance management and fostering a positive team culture.
- Contribute to service improvement, risk management and implementation of relevant legislation, policies and procedures.
- Maintain a person-centred approach and support staff to attain their full potential.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams to deliver high-quality services.
- Experience in overseeing performance, financial resources and operational responsibilities.
- Knowledge and experience of safeguarding practice, legislation and codes of practice.
- Ability to build effective partnerships with internal teams and external organisations.
- Excellent communication, organisational and problem‑solving skills.
- Experience handling complex situations, complaints, disciplinary matters and risk management.
- Commitment to promoting positive outcomes for individuals, carers and communities.
- Coach and develop staff to achieve their full potential.
