Shift Manager - Warehouse

We're now looking for a Warehouse Shift Manager to lead our operations and drive success.

Pay Rate: £36,000 to £39,610
Grade: M
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Shift patterns: Any 5 from 7, 7am to 3pm & 3pm to 11pm (Rotational Shift)
Location: Coventry, CV2 2TA

• Supervise the running of a safe and efficient operation, working within clear guidelines to help achieve Operational Standards and defined outcomes for your responsibility area / shift approach.
• Identify and bring new standards to operation.
• Have clear understanding of Objectives & KPIs applicable to your position and to your team.
• Communicate Roles & Responsibilities applicable to your team (coordinators) and ensure they are trained and prepared to execute the expected activities.
• Develop your TDM according to your Roles & Responsibilities and aligned to the TDM of your team. Validate it with your immediate leader.
• Approve the TDM of your team (coordinators) and ensure they can deliver their Roles & Responsibilities with it.
• Update Daily resource planning for next shift, based on latest volume and volume profile information.

• Previous First Line / Shift Manager experience is Essential.
• Strong leadership experience is Essential.
• IT Literate, with Microsoft Office Packages, Excel.
• Have strong operational knowledge of logistics and warehousing.
• Have a strategic mindset and a passion for problem solving.
• You're a natural leader with excellent communication skills, able to inspire and engage your team.
