This is a high-impact opportunity for an experienced and strategically minded Facilities & Compliance professional to join the Ashbrook Campus on a full-time, permanent basis.

Supporting a campus incorporating both a premium independent school and a regional head office function, this role is pivotal in protecting, enhancing, and future-proofing the estate. The successful candidate will operate at a senior level, driving best-in-class facilities management, governance, and compliance standards across both educational and corporate environments.

You will take full ownership of the facilities and compliance agenda, providing leadership to the Campus Premises Manager and ensuring all operations, systems, and supplier partnerships align with a high-performance, audit-ready environment.

Key Responsibilities Strategic Oversight & Leadership
  • Provide senior-level oversight of the Ashbrook Campus and Regional Support Office, ensuring a consistently high standard
  • Line manage and develop the Campus Premises Manager, setting clear expectations and driving accountability
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all facilities, compliance, and estate-related matters, both internally and externally
  • Partner with the UK Regional Facilities Manager to align local delivery with wider organisational strategy
Compliance & Governance
  • Lead on all statutory and regulatory compliance across both independent school and commercial office settings
  • Establish, implement, and continuously improve Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) programmes
  • Ensure all compliance frameworks are robust, audit-ready, and aligned to best practice, including H&S, fire safety, and environmental standards
  • Oversee risk assessments, audits, inspections, and certification management, maintaining meticulous and accurate records
  • Proactively identify risk, implementing mitigation strategies to protect the organisation and its stakeholders
Contract & Supplier Management
  • Take ownership of all contractor relationships, including procurement, onboarding, and performance management
  • Negotiate and implement new service contracts, ensuring value for money and service excellence
  • Manage third-party providers across cleaning, security, maintenance, and specialist compliance services
  • Drive a partnership approach with suppliers, holding them accountable to agreed SLAs and KPIs
Operations & Estate Management
  • Ensure the campus and office environment are safe, secure, and maintained to an exceptional standard at all times
  • Oversee all reactive and planned maintenance, including minor works and refurbishment projects
  • Manage core building systems (HVAC, water, lighting, etc.) to ensure operational efficiency and compliance
  • Support business operations through effective facilities planning, including meetings, events, and wider campus activities

This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented leader who is comfortable operating in a dual environment, balancing the regulatory requirements of an independent school with the expectations of a professional corporate setting. You will bring a strong compliance mindset, commercial awareness, and a commitment to maintaining a best-in-class environment.
