Regional Manager

We are By the Bridge, a leading independent fostering provider, an independent and leading organisation with a unique therapeutic approach, providing high quality foster care for children of all ages and abilities.

Role Description

We find and train the best Foster Parents so that the young people in our care get a better chance in life and we are looking for a dedicated, experienced individual to join our team as a Regional Manager. Are you a passionate experienced Social Work Manager who has experience in working in an IFA who is dedicated in helping children and young people rebuild their lives? If so, we would love to hear from you!

This is a newly created role to work alongside the current experienced and established Managers and as a new investment in our growing services across By the Bridge. The role will be to support the West Midlands and East Midlands combined team who are based near Birmingham and Tamworth.

The role

We are seeking a dynamic, innovative and creative Regional Manager to join our established teams. The Regional Manager will be responsible for managing the provision of our therapeutic fostering service in the Midlands region. The post holder will support the leading and managing a staff team to ensure that the highest quality therapeutic fostering services are delivered for the children, families and customers of By the Bridge with Cambian.

You

You will be a qualified Social Worker currently registered with SWE with demonstrable management experience. You will have experience of dealing with complex, regulated processes and a wide-ranging knowledge of fostering and fostering legislation. You will have a robust understanding of the importance of safeguarding children and young people, ensuring that this is kept at the core of your practice.

You will have excellent communication skills and demonstrate confidence and leadership, with the ability to manage relationships with diverse groups of stakeholders. You will have good IT skills, specifically Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Experience in using Microsoft Dynamics Charms would be advantageous but is not essential.
