Position Summary- Job Title: Logistics Operative
- Location: Ansty Park
- Hours: 2 shifts – either perm morning shift 7:00‑15:30 and Friday 7:00‑12:30 or rotating shift (morning and afternoon on rotation): 14:00‑10:15 and Friday 12:45‑18:15
- Duration: Permanent
- Join our team as a Logistics Operative! The role sits within a busy manufacturing environment where precision, safety, and adaptability are essential. The ideal candidate is a multi‑skilled individual with a proactive attitude, capable of contributing to a seamless and efficient team operation.
- Picking and packing, following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and adhering to set processes and detailed instructions.
- All team members are required to complete Dangerous Goods training and must be comfortable handling materials.
- Transfer of materials to quality inspection and/or packing area or production zones.
- Ensuring inbound couriers are directed safely across the yard to the appropriate unloading bay.
- Handover of correct deliveries to the outbound courier and retrieve the signed collection note.
- Previous experience in a manual handling and hands‑on shop floor position in a manufacturing environment or warehouse.
- Previous experience within a wider manufacturing or engineering environment.
- A good team player and an individual who has an eagerness to grow and learn.
- A good level of physical capability is required, with regular manual handling as part of the role.
- High focus on attention to detail, always maintaining quality standards.
