The Role
The CNC Machinist vacancy is a hands-on CNC role for an experienced machinist who enjoys technical, low-volume/high-value work.
For the role of CNC Machinist, you will:
* Set and operate CNC machines (milling or turning) including Mazak and Doosan Machines.
* Work from engineering drawings to tight tolerances
* Inspect your own work using precision measuring equipment
* Contribute to continuous improvement and quality standards
* Work as part of a skilled, supportive shopfloor team

What We’re Looking For:
* Proven experience as a CNC Machinist/Setter within a precision manufacturing business
* Experience with Fanuc/Mazatrol/Heidenhain controls
* Experience machining large components (we have anything up to 7 metres in length x 800mm diameter)
* Experience working with exotic materials including Inconel or Duplex.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings as well as GD&T symbols.
* Strong attention to detail and pride in quality
* A reliable, team-focused approach is required for the CNC Machinist role.
