Mon-Thurs: 07:30-16:00

Fri: 07:30-11:30

The Role

A well‑established design and manufacturing business based in Coventry is seeking an experienced Stores Operative to join their team immediately. This is a hands‑on role within a busy stores department, supporting production by ensuring all materials and components are accurately managed and readily available.

Key Responsibilities

Managing inventory and maintaining accurate stock levels
Recording incoming and outgoing parts using IT systems
Signing in deliveries and booking out materials to production
Ensuring all stock movements are logged correctly
Using handheld devices, computers, and internal systems
Keeping the stores area organised, tidy, and compliant with procedures
Supporting wider operations when required

Requirements

Previous experience in a stores, warehouse, or inventory‑based role
Confident using IT equipment and digital stock‑management tools
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Reliable, organised, and able to work independently
Able to start immediately
