Job Title: Wash Operator / General Hand

Hours: 06:15 - 16:30, Monday to Thursday
Pay Rate: £13.75 per hour

We are a busy engineering and manufacturing facility looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Wash Operator / General Hand to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with experience in engineering or manufacturing environments who enjoys hands‑on work and can operate effectively in a fast‑paced warehouse setting.

As a Wash Operator / General Hand, you will play a key role in ensuring components are cleaned, handled, and prepared for dispatch to our customers. You will also assist with general warehouse operations, supporting the smooth running of daily processes. This is a physically active role that requires attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to meet deadlines.

• Operate washing and cleaning equipment safely and efficiently for engineering components

• Assist with general warehouse duties, including stock handling, storage, and organisation

• Prepare and pack products for dispatch accurately and efficiently

• Carry out quality checks to ensure products meet company standards before dispatch

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment

• Work closely with team members to meet daily production and dispatch targets

• Follow health and safety guidelines at all times

• Previous experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment (essential)

• Proven experience in warehouse dispatch operations (essential)

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work

• Reliability and excellent timekeeping

• Ability to work to strict deadlines while maintaining accuracy

• Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team

• Proactive attitude and willingness to take on varied tasks

• Competitive hourly pay of £13.75

• Permanent, full-time position with a Monday to Thursday schedule
