Stockton-on-Tees Salary: £35 - 40k DOE CNC Turner Setter / Operator required for a well-established engineering and manufacturing company based in Stockton-on-Tees. Our client operates across a range of industries including telecommunications, construction, and rail, providing specialist equipment and innovative engineering solutions. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced CNC Turner Setter / Operator to join their production team.

CNC Turner Setter / Operator

Position Overview Setting and operating CNC turning machines to manufacture precision-engineered components Interpreting engineering drawings, technical specifications, and production documentation Adjusting machine settings and tooling to achieve optimum machining performance Using measuring equipment to ensure components meet required tolerances and specifications Carrying out routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting activities Working closely with colleagues to improve manufacturing processes and efficiency Accurately recording production data and manufacturing activities Ensuring compliance with company health and safety procedures at all times CNC Turner Setter / Operator

Position Requirements Proven experience as a CNC Turner Setter / Operator within a precision engineering environment Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of machining processes Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings Experience using precision measuring equipment and inspection tools
