CY Partners is recruiting on behalf of a leading pharmaceutical manufacturing organisation for a Commercial Production Manager to lead the commercial manufacture of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs).

This is a rare opportunity to join a specialist GMP manufacturing operation responsible for the production of commercial APIs for global pharmaceutical and biotechnology clients. You'll lead a multidisciplinary production team, oversee day-to-day commercial manufacturing operations and ensure products are delivered safely, efficiently and in full compliance with GMP and regulatory requirements.

• Demonstrable experience leading the commercial manufacture of APIs within a GMP environment.
• Experience gained within a pharmaceutical CDMO or commercial API manufacturing organisation.
• Proven leadership experience within regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing.
• A strong understanding of MHRA/EMA GMP requirements, quality systems and inspection readiness.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to work collaboratively across Production, Quality, Technical and Commercial teams.

This could also suit an experienced Senior Process Chemist, Scale-up Chemist or Manufacturing Scientist who has developed strong leadership capability within a commercial GMP API manufacturing environment and is looking to take the next step into a broader operational leadership role.

The successful candidate will have genuine autonomy, work closely with senior leadership and play an important role in supporting future business growth.
