We are partnering with a manufacturer in Coventry to find a dedicated, Material Planner to join their team. In this role, you will be the engine behind our production scheduling and inventory workflows, ensuring seamless material availability and strong supplier alignment to keep our modern facility running at peak performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Material Planning & Scheduling: Drive material requirements planning (MRP) to align production schedules with operational demands.
• Inventory Control: Maintain strict inventory accuracy through regular warehouse stock audits and data analysis.
• Logistics Management: Coordinate smooth in- and out-bound flows for components, consumables, and finished goods.
• Supplier Performance: Monitor and track supplier metrics, including OTIF (On Time In Full), to ensure reliability.
• ERP Integrity: Maintain robust ERP data accuracy, adjusting forecasts dynamically based on actual consumption trends.
• Waste Reduction: Analyse stock data proactively to identify, manage, and reduce obsolete or excess inventory.
