Skilled TIG Welder

We are recruiting for an experienced TIG Welder to join our client’s expanding team in Coventry within the Aerospace and Automotive sector.

Rates advertised are PAYE (lower value) and umbrella (higher value).

This is a day shift role with an early Friday finish. Immediate weld tests for suitable applicants.

Key Responsibilities
TIG welding to a high standard
Working with mild and stainless steel, and experience working with aluminium is advantageous.
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
Preparing, measuring and assembling metal components
Ensuring all welds meet required quality standards
Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment
Working independently and as part of a team

What We’re Looking For:

Proven experience in both TIG welding
Previous experience within welding, fabrication, in an aerospace or automotive environment.
Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
Strong attention to detail and quality
Reliable, hard-working and safety-conscious attitude
Relevant welding qualifications are advantageous
